Yep, I used a 1/2 ball mill to do the little divots. Bought some 1/2 marbles (actually measured roughly between 0.545 - 0.570), which fit quite well for what it is. The Tormach 440 is going to do best with the 20mm/0.75 Ripper mill (Google it). Everything else is a waste of your time/money. That machine is so very underpowered, particularly in the high motor ratio. Rate it at 0.1 HP to prevent stalls at 10k RPM. It is rated at 0.75HP at the low belt setting at 3000RPM IIRC.
